PAM JOHNSON: She shared the 1982 Pulitzer Prize that was awarded to The Kansas City Star and Kansas City Times for coverage of the Hyatt Hotel skywalks collapse.

GENEVA OVERHOLSER: Under her leadership, the Des Moines Register won the 1990 Pulitzer Prize for public service for a series on the rape of an Iowa woman, using her name and photographs.
