Missouri’s growing automotive Industry

Welcoming New Suppliers

The Show-Me State is adding another automotive parts supplier to its growing network, with Michigan-based company Challenge Manufacturing recently leasing space in a new building at the KCI Intermodal Business Centre near the Kansas City International Airport. The company will manufacture welded assemblies and other engineered metal products for the nearby General Motors plant at its new Missouri facility. Challenge Manufacturing chose Kansas City over two rival locations, and will bring up to 375 new jobs to the city.
