Missouri releases the Comprehensive State Energy Plan

And More DED News

The Missouri Department of Economic Development’s Division of Energy (DE) will this week announce the completion of the Comprehensive Statewide Energy Plan, which provides for an all-inclusive approach to energy sustainability and greater independence for Missouri’s future. In June 2014, Gov. Nixon signed Executive Order 14-06, charging DE to work with energy cooperatives and providers, businesses, consumers, and other stakeholders to develop the comprehensive statewide energy plan. Following months of public comments and working groups, the plan will now outline Missouri’s long and short-term needs for clean, reliable, affordable, and abundant energy.
