Missouri Food Businesses Expand

And Other DED News

Two Missouri-based food businesses recently announced plans to invest and grow their local workforce. In order to increase production, Kansas City-based industrial food equipment manufacturer Shick USA will expand to a nearby facility in the Blue Valley Industrial District, a capital investment of several million dollars that will create more than 85 new jobs. Across the state, St. Louis-based Volpi Italian Foods, Inc., is also expanding, constructing a new global meat processing plant in Union. The project includes a capital investment of more than $40 million and 50 new jobs.
