In conjunction with the Commission on Innovation, Competitiveness and Economic Prosperity (CICEP), the APLU Annual Meeting will feature presentations by several members of President Obama’s Cabinet, including Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Secretary of Education Arnie Duncan, as well as other high-ranking Administration officials, including Karen Mills, Administrator of the Small Business Administration. General and plenary session topics will include “Financing Tomorrow’s Public Research Universities”, “Expanding Higher Education – Public Universities and the President’s Goal” and “University Contributions to Achieving the Nation’s Energy Goal.”
