Selling to the Government

The University of Missouri helps entrepreneurs do business with the government.

Mizzou is home to the Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Center, which helps businesses — including small businesses, disadvantaged businesses and women-owned firms — to obtain federal, state and local government contracts. MO PTAC procurement specialists help businesses identify opportunities and understand the contracting process in order to take advantage of government sales dollars. In fiscal year 2010 MO PTAC clients received 2,760 contracts valued at more than $467 million. As a result, more than 9,354 jobs were created or retained. Procurement services include:
